Charles Barkley, Kyle Korver among those at Neville Arena for Auburn’s game vs. USC

The Auburn Tigers men’s basketball team hosted the USC Trojans in the second part of the a home-and-home series Sunday afternoon in what Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl said “might be the hottest tickets in Neville Arena history.”

And if you thought Charles Barkley was going to miss the action, you were sorely mistaken.

Barkley, who splits time living between Atlanta and Phoenix, made a return to The Plains Sunday as the Tigers hosted the Trojans, who happen to have a freshman named Bronny James on their roster. James is the son of 19-time NBA All-Star LeBron James, who currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kyle Korver, who played with LeBron James with the Cleveland Caveliers, also made his way to Neville Arena for Sunday afternoon’s affair.

As of tipoff, however, there were no signs of LeBron James, despite buzz that he might show up as the Lakers didn’t have a game scheduled this weekend.
